If at any time during her reign a Choctaw Nation District Princess or member of Choctaw Nation Royalty violates any of the guidelines, qualification, stipulations, or Code of Conduct associated with being eligible for the role of princess, they will forfeit their crown, title, and duties to the first runner-up.It is acceptable for Choctaw Nation Royalty Pageant winners to hold other titles (example: Miss Owa Chito Festival, Miss Native American Student Association, etc.) however, they must not interfere in fulfilling the duties of being official Choctaw Nation Royalty.If a member of Choctaw Nation Royalty cannot fulfill her duties for any reason during her reign, the title, crown, and duties will pass to the first runner-up.If district winners cannot fulfill their duties as district princess for any reason during their reign, the title, crown, and duties will pass to the first runner-up in that district.The Royalty Pageant interview date and location will be announced after June 15, 2022. This year's pageant will be held (date to be announced) on the Choctaw Nation Tribal Grounds in Tvshka Homma, Oklahoma. Each district winner is required (except for emergency situations) to be a contestant in the Choctaw Nation Royalty Pageant and attend the interview held before the final level of competition.During her reign, each District Princess will make personal appearances at various functions throughout the district in accordance with the Choctaw Nation District Councilperson's approval. The winner of each district division will represent her district throughout the year.College students' "permanent address" on school records is used to indicate district residency in circumstances where students may live on a campus in a different district a portion of the year while attending school. District affiliation is based on actual district of residency.No applications will be accepted less than one (1) week before the pageant. One-half (1/2) point will be deducted for each required document not submitted by deadline.
